Add external email accounts into Gmail

If you’d like a central place to manage and receive all your email from, then Gmail is the perfect solution. Gmail allows you to add up to five other email accounts that you own, as long as they are POP mailboxes.

Why use Gmail for your other email accounts? You save time, get great spam filtering and the lightning fast search feature.

Step 1

In Gmail, click on Settings in the top right corner.

Step 2

Click on the Accounts and Import tab.

Step 3

Scroll down to Check mail using POP3 and click on the Add POP3 email account button.

Step 4

Enter your external email address and click on Next Step.

Step 5

Now add the username, password and POP server address that you got from your host or ISP. Click on Add Account and you are done!

You can choose extra options like leaving a copy on the server or labeling all the emails that you get from that email address.
